Banovich Art Catalog - Volume 16

Welcome to Banovich Fine Art Catalog – Vol. 16
A celebration of art inspired by purpose, born of passion, and dedicated to making a difference in the wild places, and within the hearts, it touches.

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

These words remind me daily that purpose - not happiness - is the true compass of a life well lived. As I close in on the end of my sixty-second year on this earth, I find Emerson’s wisdom more profound than ever.

Each day, before I enter my studio, I take a moment to reconnect with that inner spark, to remember why I paint, and what I wish to express through my work. It’s a visceral, grounding ritual, one that draws me back to the childlike sense of wonder that first ignited this lifelong journey.

We must nurture that sense of purpose every single day, no matter our age. For it is through purpose that we find meaning, and through meaning that we create art, connection, and legacy.
